 Infrared LED Lights: Infrared (IR) emitters use a patent pending LED and reflector combination to provide a high powered, covert IR light source for vehicles, heavy equipment and security applications. IR emitters enhance night vision capabilities for military personnel as well.
Each infrared light bar is manufactured with an extruded aluminum housing, machined aluminum mounts and stainless steel hardware for strength, durability and weather resistance.
Low profile LED Light Bars are perfect for mounting in tight spaces where traditional lights would not fit or where larger format lights would block mounted equipment.
These Infrared Emitter Light Bars come standard with flat surface and tube mounts and rubber shock isolators. Each mount slides along the lower extrusion to match any existing mounting holes and it allows for horizontal and vertical adjustment.
Magnalight IR emitter bar are available in 850nm or 940nm. Unlike IR filter covers which reduce some percentage of the light energy projected, all the light energy produced from this IR emitter bar is utilized. The LEDs produce non-visible light that emits light energy above 850nm or 940 nm.
All of the www.magnalight.com LED emitter light bars work on voltages ranging from 9 volts to 36 volts, including 24 Volts, 18 volts, etc.
All of our LED IR emitter bars are IP 67 rated, being both waterproof (with water jets) and dust proof.
Magnalight emitter bars are unique because of the patent pending technology that pairs a reflector with each LED. Typically LEDs are mounted against a surface and "glow". This glow is often effective at close range, but the light energy drops off rapidly. By pairing each LED with a reflector, the emitted light energy is projected outward, so that the "drop off" in light energy does not occur until much greater distances. Like all reflector technology, the amount of light energy projected is directly proportional to the shape and material of the reflector, as well as the thickness and composition of the lens. This IR emitter produces a wide spot pattern (or a modified spot pattern) which falls in between a narrow spot and a flood pattern.
